A little while ago, an elderly relative asked me to help her draw. We spent an
enjoyable couple of hours together, learning a few of my techniques about seeing
and drawing. As I was leaving, I asked her about the back pain that had been
troubling her.
She gasped and her eyes lit up as she said “Gosh, I completely forgot about it. It's gone.” She smiled at me, “And it still is.”
She hugged me warmly. “Thank you. That was fabulous.”
I sang as I drove home. This
is unusual as I know I can't sing, I felt on top of the world.
Things that seemed so tough a few
hours ago, seemed less so now.
Then it hit me. “This is what I want to do”, I realised. “I want to share this with everyone who wants it”.
